Mike Devlin joined the Ursinus football staff as assistant defensive backs coach in 2020, forming a family tandem with his father, Bears defensive coordinator Steve Devlin.

The younger Devlin comes to Ursinus after three seasons at Archbishop Wood High School, where he helped lead the Vikings to PIAA championships in 2017 and 2019. He served as wide receivers and defensive backs coach for the varsity squad and as head coach of the junior varsity for two years before taking over as pass game coordinator for the varsity in 2019. 

Devlin was a standout receiver at Wood, part of state championship teams in 2013 and 2014. He was an All-Catholic League selection in 2015 before playing one season at West Chester University.
