Women's XC Runs at Paul Short Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Three members of the Ursinus College women's cross country team ran to personal bests as the Bears placed 22nd at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday.

Sophomore Brittany Gasser, junior Jenna Kelly, and senior Sam Innes all established new individual benchmarks for Ursinus. Gasser was the first Bear across the line in a time of 23:39, good for 38th overall, and Kelly was about a minute behind at 24:41 (96th).

Sophomore Riley Engel completed the course in 24:59, and classmate Gabrielle Manto finished with a clocking of 25:27. Freshman Alyson Manley recorded a mark of 26:05.

Innes registered a time of 26:28, five seconds ahead of junior Lily Talerman.

The Bears run again on Saturday, October 29, when they head to Rowan for the Inter-Regional Border Battle.
