Women's Cross County wins Mule-Falcon Classic

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Ursinus College cross country teams won both ends of the Mule-Falcon Classic hosted by Cedar Crest College on Saturday afternoon.

The women won the ten team event with 30 points, while the men were first out of nine teams with 36 points.

On the women's side, it was quite a day for freshman runner freshman Sarah Huang (Waterford, Conn./Waterford). In addition to winning the 5k race with a time of 19:56.9, she also set a course record and became the first freshman under head coach Chris Bayless to break 20 minutes during a race. She is now seventh all-time on the Ursinus 5k list.

Junior Stephanie Donatone (Morrestown, N.J./Morrestown) was fifth in the race with a time of 21:11.9, followed by senior Ali Nolan (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) in seventh place at 22:00.7. Junior Michelle Tetla (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) was eighth with a mark of 22:12.4, followed by junior Meghan McDermott (Yonkers, N.Y./Hackley School) in ninth place at 22:16.1.
