COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College volleyball team rode the wave of nine service aces as the Bears (8-7, 1-0 Centennial) won their Centennial opener with a 3-2 score over Dickinson (3-10, 0-1 Centennial) on Saturday.

Set scores were 25-13, 25-17, 23-25, 19-25, 15-13.

The Bears got four service aces from sophomore middle blocker Kristin Hanratty (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) who had four, while junior outside hitter Kimberly Goldberg (Sarasota, Fla./Out of Door Academy) had three.

Senior outside hitter Mary Kate Wilmoth (Wilmington, Del./St. Mark's) and Goldberg each had 13 kills, with junior setter Elizabeth Roth (York, Pa./Dallastown Area) adding in 40 assists.

Defensively, senior libero Gabriella Galleo (Reading, Pa./Spring-Ford) had 30 digs, with Hanratty adding in 18.
