Conhoff Takes First in the 1500 on Final Day of AARTFC Championships

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior Rachel Conhoff won the 1,500 meters on Thursday morning to lead the Ursinus Women's Track & Field team in the final day of the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships (AARTFC) at Moravian University.

 

 

Three Bears competed on the last day in the final meet before NCAA Championships next week in Geneva, Ohio.

 

 

Conhoff paced the field of 12 by posting a time of 4:36.22 to win the race by over a second. She put herself in a good position to race in the 1,500 next weekend at the NCAA Championships with her school record time of 4:35.43.

 

 

Sophomore Jacqueline Allen finished in 12th overall in the shot put after recording a throw of 11.77 meters.

 

 

Junior Holly Chambers registered a new career-best time in the 800 meters with his time of 2:20.43 and finished in 17th overall.

 

 

The Bears will await to see if they have student-athletes qualified in the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
