BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team began their final meet before NCAA Championships on Wednesday at All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship (AARTFC) hosted by Moravian University.

First-year Ryann Wauthier finished off a strong May by setting a new personal best in the 5,000-meters by three seconds on her time 18:34.55 and finished seventh overall. Senior Lauren Ferguson finished in seventh as well after posting a time of 39:12.20 in the 10,000-meters.

The Bears had a pair of student-athletes compete in the javelin as first-year Katya Galkowski finished ninth overall on her throw of 35.36. Junior Hannah Bierling placed 18th after recording her throw of 33.00 meters.

Ursinus will conclude the two-day event tomorrow, May 19th with student-athletes competing in three events starting at 10:30 a.m.
