COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Junior Rachel Conhoff officially qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships that will be held next weekend.
Conhoff becomes the first Ursinus Women's Track & Field student-athlete to qualify for the meet since 2009 when Christa Johnson raced in the 5000-meter run. She will run in the 1-mile race and will be seeded 14th for the prelims that will begin on Friday, March 11th at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
She earned her seeding in the championship race after posting a career-best time for the mile in the Centennial Indoor Championships. Conhoff finished fourth in that race and followed that with a runner-up finish at the AARTFC Championship on Saturday with a time of 5:05.09
The times for each race will be announced later this week. Stay tuned to ursinusathletics.com to find out when Rachel Conhoff will race in the meet.
