COLLEGEVILLE, PA – The Ursinus College indoor women's track and field team will start competition in the two-day Centennial Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center starting on Saturday morning.

This will be the Bears' first indoor championship appearance after the 2021 meet was canceled due to COVID and the first time since 2018 they will be hosting the indoor championships.

The Bears earned 56 points to tie for fourth in the preseason vote among the Centennial coaches back in December with Haverford. 10-time defending champion Johns Hopkins earned the top spot in the poll after garnering nine of the 10 possible first-place votes. Ursinus finished fourth at the 2020 Centennial Indoor Championships which was the highest finish for the team since 2013.
