COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus women's track & field team hosted the Frank Colden Invitational at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center on Saturday to complete a full weekend of action.
Junior Isabelle Deal paced the Bears throwers on Saturday with a fifth-place finish in the shot put on a throw of 31-1.75 ft. and a sixth-place finish in the weight throw at 42-5.50 ft.
Senior Rosie Cuomo earned a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.84 and was followed by classmate Tori Bearden in seventh at a 10.90.
Senior Lauren Ferguson and first-year Ryann Wauthier finished sixth and seventh in the 3,000-meter run with times of 11:18.88 and 11:23.60, respectively. Freshman Brooke Adams rounded out the distance runners with a ninth-place finish in the mile with a time of 5:37.33
Junior Julia Pierson placed eighth in the pole vault at 8-0.50 ft. and was followed by senior Chelsea Stitt in 10th with a mark of 7-6.50 ft.
The Bears will return to action on Friday, February 11th as they will compete in the two-day VMI Winter Classic.
