LANCASTER, Pa. – After posting a win in the 5,000 meter run, junior Rachel Conhoff was named Centennial Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week, announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.
Conhoff opened the indoor season with a strong performance in the 5,000 meter run at the Ursinus Bow Tie Invitational on Friday night. She placed first in the event with a career-best time of 18:47.44, her first-ever indoor track & field collegiate race win. Her time currently ranks 22nd in Division III this season and sixth in the Centennial Conference.
She is the first Bears Women's Track & Field athlete to earn an indoor player of the week honor since Sophia Simoes earned the field accolade in February 2019.
The Bears will return to action after the holidays on Saturday, January 22nd as they will host the Collegeville Classic.
