All-CC Women's Track & Field

LANCASTER, Pa. – Eight members of the Ursinus College women's track and field team officially received All-Centennial Conference awards for their performances at the outdoor championships.

Isabelle Deal led the Bears with two first-team honors thanks to her gold medals in the javelin and shot put, while Rachel Coleman, Kate Hunt, Katy Jenkins, and Dominique Timmons joined her for their winning run in the 4x100-meter relay.

Jacqueline Allen (shot put), Jenna Lozzi (steeplechase), and Vikki Rueda-Juarez (discus) all received second-team nods for finishing second in their respective events.

Deal is the first Ursinus javelin champion since 1996 and the first outdoor shot put champion since 1997. Her mark of 136-6 in the javelin is currently good for 13th in Division III and will likely lead to a berth in the NCAA Championships.

Deal also led a 1-2-4 effort in the shot put, edging Allen's big PR (37-10.5) with a 38-4.

The 4x100 relay provided the other gold medal for the Bears. The quartet nipped Johns Hopkins by just .05 seconds in a thrilling race that left them as the first Ursinus outdoor champions in the event since 2011.

Lozzi collected silver in the 3000-meter steeplechase, completing the course in a career-best 12:52.79.

Rueda-Juarez earned a silver medal of her own in the discus, launching a career-best mark of 120-10.

Additionally, senior Neve Durrwachter was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
