Women's Track and Field fifth at Colden Invite

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team finished with a team score of 43 points on Saturday during the Frank Colden Invitational, taking fifth in a 15 team event.

On the track, senior Victoria Goodenough won the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.19 and was sixth in the 200 dash with a time of 27.68.

Sophomore Kristen Prijs was fifth in the 400 dash at 1:03.25, while junior Emily Lamb was fourth in the 800 run at 2:23.98.

Ursinus placed two in the 5k, with sophomore Grace Barter in seventh at 21:10.14, and junior Chelsea Nemeth in eighth at 21:18.76.

In the 4x2 relay, the team of Goodenough, freshman Erin Farrell, freshman Chloe Johnson-Hyde and freshman Amber Steigerwalt were third with a time of 1:50.81. In the 4x8, the team of sophomore Kimberly Nolan, sophomore Danielle Grimes, Lamb and freshman Alicia Baker were fourth at 11:04.50.

In the field events, sophomore Kimberly Snow was eighth in the high jump at 4.07.75, while senior Amanda Birnbrauer was third in the shot put at 39-08.50.
