WTrack runs at Penn Relays/West Chester

The Ursinus College women's track and field teams got set for the upcoming Centennial Conference Track and Field Championships by competing in two meets this past weekend.

On Thursday, the Bears took part in the historic Penn Relays in the 4x4 Centennial/MAC in which the team of Victoria Goodenough, Brianna Kramer, Kristen Prijs and Carina Doyle finished sixth with a time of 4:09.76.

Friday, the Bears took to West Chester to compete in the non-scoring West Chester Open.
Emily Lamb was a winner in the 1500 meter run, finishing with a time of 4:51.72, while Goodenough won the 100 hurdles at 15.03. She was also fourth in the 400 hurdles at 1:08.82.

In that 1500 meter run, Sarah Huang was fourth at 5:02.37, while Emelia Perry was fifth at 5:02.74.

Brianna Kramer was fifth in the 800 run at 2:29.09.

In the field events, Celina Sooksatan was second in the high jump at 1.57 meters, with Kimberly Snow fourth at 1.47 meters.

The jumps saw Krista Snyder third in the long jump at 4.95 meters, followed by Sooksatan fifth at 4.82 meters.

Morgan Pepe was second in the triple jump at 10.99 meters.

Snyder was second in the javelin at 32.54 meters, followed by Snow fifth at 27.88 meters.
Amanda Birnbrauer was fourth in the shot put at 11.58 meters.
