Women's Track and Field competes Gwynedd-Mercy Mid-Week Meet

GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Gwynedd-Mercy Mid-Week Invitational on Wednesday.

Starting with the women, sophomore Emily Lamb was first in the 800 meter run at 2:22.80. Junior Victoria Goodenough was first in the 100 hurdles at 15.23 and in the 400 hurdles at 1:06.97.

Senior Celina Sooksatan was first in the high jump at 5-03.75 feet, with senior Morgan Pepe first in the triple jump at 36-05.75.

Freshman Krista Snyder was second in the triple jump at 33-8 feet, while freshman Elizabeth Cooley was second in the pole vault at 8-06.25. Pepe was second in the long jump at 15-10.25, followed by Snyder in third at 15-09 and Sooksatan in fourth at 15-07.

Senior Brianna Kramer was second in the 400 dash at 1:02.34.

Senior Carina Doyle was fourth in the 100 at 13.37 and in the 200 at 27.49.

Senior Olivia Hovick was fourth in the triple jump at 30-09.25.

Junior Katie Martin was sixth in the 400 at 1:06.35, followed by sophomore Chelsie Nemeth who also placed sixth in the 1500 run at 5:35.72.

In the 800 meter run, freshman Kristen Prijs was seventh at 2:34.49 and sophomore Elizabeth Reynolds was eighth at 2:34.49.

Freshman Danielle Grimes was eighth at 5:37.50 in the 1500 meter run.
