NEWARK, Del. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team competed in the non-scoring University of Delaware Open on Saturday.
Emelia Perry took a first-place finish in the 5k run, crossing the line with a time of 19:23.31. Chelsie Nemeth was fourth in the event at 20:36.70, while Grace Barter was sixth (20:53.74) and Danielle Grimes (21:33.92).
Victoria Goodenough was second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.99.
In the high jump, Celina Sooksatan was third at 5-05, while Kimberly Snow was sixth at 4-09.
Amanda Laurito was fifth in the 100 meter dash at 12.35, while taking sixth in the 200 at 25.62.
In the 1500 meter run, Emily Lamb was fourth at 5:00.17, followed by Elizabeth Reynolds in eighth place at 5:12.43.
Elizabeth Cooley was seventh in the pole vault at 9-02.25, while Krista Snyder was seventh in the triple jump at 32.00.25.
In the throws, Amanda Birnbrauer was sixth in the javelin at 92-07, while she was seventh in the discus at 107-11.
