COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team finished fourth after the two-day 2013 Centennial Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Ursinus College with a team total of 77.
The other first place finish came from senior Celina Sooksatan (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) in the high jump at 5-03-75.
Staying on the track, senior Carina Doyle (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) was third at 1:00.00 in the 400 meter dash, while sophomore Emily Lamb (Parkesburg, Pa./Westtown School) took eighth in the 800 run at 2:25.91.
In the 60 hurdles, junior Victoria Goodenough (Oxford, England/McDonogh School) was second at 9.12.
In that 4x2 relay, the team of Laurito, Goodenough, Doyle and freshman Krista Snyder (West Sunbury, Pa./Moniteau) finished second at 1:49.29.
In the 4x4 relay, Goodenough, senior Brianna Kramer (Drums, Pa./Freeland MMI), freshman Kristen Prijs (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township) and Doyle finished third at 4:10.29. In the DMR, Lamb, Doyle, Kramer and junior Sarah Huang (Waterford, Conn./Waterford) were fourth at 12:42.69.
In the field events, senior Morgan Pepe was fourth in the triple jump at 34-09.75 and eighth in the long jump at 15-09.50. In the shot put, junior Amanda Birnbrauer (Morrisville, Pa./Conwell-Egan) was fifth at 37-07.75.
