Women's Track and Field second at Ursinus College Open

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Winter Storm Nemo didn't prevent the Ursinus College women's track and field team from its final tuneup before Centennials on Friday afternoon as the Bears finished second at the Ursinus College open with a total of 87 points. 

Top finisher on the afternoon was Celina Sooksatan who had a first-place finish in the high jump with a height of 5-03.75.

Victoria Goodenough was second in the 60 hurdles at 9.03, while Amanda Birnbrauer was second in the shot put tossing for a  36-07.75 foot throw. 

Emily Lamb was third in the 800 run at 2:29.62, followed by a third place finish from Sarah Huang in the one mile at 5:36 flat.

Also in the 800 meter run, Brianna Kramer was fourth at 2:30.20 while Elizabeth Cooley was fourth in the pole vault at 9-00.25 feet. 

Emily Duffy was fifth in the 5000 meter run at 20:31.73, with Kimberly Snow fifth in the high jump at 4-09.75.

Morgan Pepe was fifth in the triple jump at 33-02, and sixth in the long jump at 15-06.25. 

Sixth place finishes went to Elizabeth Reynolds (5:43.02, 1 mile run); Grace Barter (20:38.27, 5k).

Kristen Prijs was seventh in the 800 run at 2:38.58. 

Finally, Carina Doyle was eighth in the 400 meter run at 1:01.11, with Sooksatan taking eighth in the long jump at 14-10.75.
