NEWARK, Del. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team took part in the University of Delaware Invitational on Saturday afternoon. There was no team scoring.

In the track events, Amanda Laurito had a strong day as she took third in the 200 dash (26.19), and fourth in the 100 dash (12.86). She was also part of the 4x1 relay team that took sixth at 51.36. She ran along with Victoria Goodenough, Jessica Matusky and Caitlin Walsh.

Goodenough was fourth in both hurdle events, going 14.95 in the high hurdles and 1:06.93 in the 400 hurdles.

In the other track events, Brianna Kramer was fourth in the 800 run at 2:25.27 and Emily Lamb was eighth at 2:29.03.

Stephanie Donatone was eighth in the 1500 at 5:09.68, while Sabrina Cimerol was 4th in the steeplechase at 12:52.93.

In the field events, Amanda Birnbrauer was fifth in the shot put at 35-2, while taking seventh in the discus throw at 88 feet.

In the high jump, Amy Galvin was fourth at 5-3, Celina Sooksatan was fifth at 5-3 and Anna Lopresti was seventh at 4-9.

Katie Williams took fourth in the shot put at 35-4, while Bianca Bartoli was fifth in the javelin at 109-04.
