COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. –The Ursinus College Women's Track and Field team placed second Friday at the Ursinus Invitational, hosted by the College.  The Bears fell to winner Georgian Court by a score of 200-184.

In the 100 Meter Dash, junior Amanda Laurito (Philadelphia, Pa./PA Home Schoolers) finished second with a time of 12.69 seconds.

In the 200 Meter Dash, Laurito took third with a time of 26.23.

In the 400 Meter Dash, freshman Jessica Matusky (Ardmore, Pa./Haverford High School) finished fifth with a time of 1:02.73.

In the 800 Meter Run, junior Brianna Kramer (Drums, Pa./MMI Prep School) placed second with a time of 2:27.63, while freshman Emily Lamb (Parkesburg, Pa./Westtown School/UConn) finished third with a time of 2:29.88.

In the 1500 Meter Run, Lamb placed second with a time of 5:04.23, while senior Stephanie Donatone (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown High School) placed fifth with a time of 5:15.94.

In the 5000 Meter Run, freshman Elizabeth Reynolds (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty High School) placed first with a time of 19:31.73.

In the 100 Meter Hurdles, sophomore Victoria Goodenough (Oxford, England/McDonough School) finished first with a time of 14.87.  Goodenough's time was second best in the country in Division III.

In the 400 Meter Hurdles, junior Carina Doyle (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) placed second with at ime of 1:06.89.

In the 4x100 Meter Relay, the Ursinus team of Goodenough, Doyle, Matusky, and Laurito placed first with a time of 50.10.

In the 4x400 Meter Relay, the Ursinus team of Kramer, Matusky, Goodenough, and Doyle placed first with a time of 4:08.88.

In the High Jump, freshman Amy Galvin (Audobon, Pa./Methacton) finished second with a jump of 1.57 meters, while junior Celina Sooksatan (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) placed third with a jump of 1.52 meters.  Sophomore Anna Lopresti (Northfield, N.J./Mainland Regional High School) placed fifth with a jump of 1.47 meters.

In the Pole Vault, senior Lauren Surman (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown High School) finished first with a height of 3.05 meters, while senior Amy Schaefer (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) finished third with a height of 2.75 meters.

In the Long Jump, Sooksatan finished fourth with a height of 4.59 meters, while senior Jen Wolf (Phialdelphia, Pa./Saint Hubert) finished fifth with a  height of 4.56 meters.

In the Triple Jump, Wolf finished fourth with a jump of 9.75 meters.
