COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team finished second at the Ursinus Invitational with 131 points on Friday night.

The night was highlighted by senior Lauren Surman setting a school record in the pole vault at 10-6.

The Bears picked up three other first place finishes on the day, as Victoria Goodenough was first in the 200 meters at 26.85, while Brianna Kramer won the 800 meters with a time of 2:25.17 and Anna Lopresti won the high jump at 5-1.

In the shot put, Amanda Birnbrauer was second with a throw of 36-9, while Elizabeth Reynolds was second in the mile run at 5:24.19. Katie Williams was third in the shot put at 35-11.25.

Celina Sooksatan was second in the high jump at 5-1.

Lauren Goldstein was third in the 400 meters at 1:01.58, while Carina Doyle was third in the 200 meters at 27.79. Doyle also had a fourth-place finish in the 400 meters at 1:10.76.

Emily Lamb took third in the one mile at 5:26.69.

In the 60 meter dash, Caitlin Walsh with fifth with a time of 8.75, while Birnbrauer was eighth at 8.83.

Jessica Matusky was fifth in the 400 meters at 1:01.78, while Goldstein was sixth in the 800 meters at 2:30.68 and Lamb was eighth in the 800 at 2:31.65.

In the 5k, Emily Duffy was fourth at 21:07.37, with Leah Mele taking eighth at 23:30.01.

In the hurdles, Caitlin Callahan was fifth at 10.59, with Caitlin McGee taking sixth at 10.60.

In the long jump, Amy Galvin was fourth with a leap of 15-6, followed by Jen Wolf in sixth at 14-8.5 and Sooksatan in seventh at 14-7.25.
