Women's Track third at Collegeville Classic

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team hosted the Collegeville Classic Friday night, finishing third out of 16 teams with a total score of 76.5 points. 

Junior Amanda Laurito (Philadelphia, Pa.) was a double winner, taking the 60 dash at 8.01, and the 200 at 26.91.

Sophomore Victoria Goodenough (Oxford, England/McDonough School) won the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.18. 

In the 400, senior Kirsten King (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) was third at 1:01. 20, freshman Jessica Matusky (Ardmore, Pa./Haverford HS) was fifth at 1:02.32 and senior Lauren Goldstein (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) was eighth at 1:02.71.

In the field events, Celina Sooksatan was fourth in the high jump at 4-11.75 and was seventh in the long jump at 14-07.25. Senior Jen Wolf (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Hubert's) was seventh in the triple jump at 29-05.-25, with sophomore Amanda Birnbrauer (Morrisville, Pa./Conwell-Egan) sixth in the shot put at 35-06.50.

In the pole vault, senior Lauren Surman (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) was fourth at 9-06.25.
