Women's Track and Field shine at West Chester Invitational

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Ursinus had a strong showing at the West Chester Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Kirsten King captured the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.76, while freshman Victoria Goodenough won both the 100 (15.69) and the 400 meter hurdles (1:07.92). Junior Ryann Burke won the javelin throw at 98-06.

Carina Doyle finished third in the 400 hurdles at 1:08.82.

Celina Sooksatan was third in the high jump with a height of 4-10.50, while Amy Schaefer was third in the pole vault with a time of 9-10. Schaefer also finished second in the heptathlon with a score of 2504.

In the shot put, Amanda Birnbrauer was second with a throw of 34-11.75, while Katie Williams was third at 34-00.25.
