King seventh at Last Chance Meet

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Ursinus College track and field freshman Chris Rountree (Lawnside, N.J./Haddon Heights) had quite the last chance meet Monday night at Swarthmore.

The freshman won the triple jump with a mark of 46-07.25 feet, provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Division III Championships. In addition, he set a new school mark in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.83, setting a new school record and also provisionally qualifying in that event. He finished his night by taking seventh in the long jump at 20-05.25 feet.

Sophomore Kirsten King (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) was seventh in both the 100 dash (13.31) and the 200 dash (26.46).

Senior Travis Youngs (Mount Vernon, N.J./Mercersburg) was fifth in the triple jump at 45-01.75.
