Women's Track and Field competes at Widener and Moravian

The Ursinus College track and field teams were in action in two different places this weekend, as the team competed at both the Widener Invitational and the Greyhound Invitational at Moravian College.

At the Greyhound Invitational, sophomore Amy Schaefer (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) finished ninth in the pole vault with a mark of 9-00.25 feet, while sophomore Bianca Bartoli (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) was ninth in the javelin at 114 feet.

At the Widener Invitational, sophomore Kristen King (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) was fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:00.31, while sophomore Michelle Tetla (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) was fourth in the 3000 meter steeplechase at 12:53.97.

Freshman Carina Doyle (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) took seventh in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:11.79.

In the field events, sophomore Jen Wolf (Philadelphia, Pa./Saint Hubert) was seventh in the triple jump at 32-04.75 feet, followed by freshman Leah Shaw (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown Regional) in eighth at 32-03.00. Freshman Olivia Hovick (Glen Mills, Pa./W.C. Bayard-Rustin) took eighth in the long jump at 15-10.25 feet, while freshman Celina Sooksatan (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) was eighth in the high jump at 4-07.75.
