Women's Tennis beats Bryn Mawr, 8-1

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College swept all three doubles matches en route to an 8-1 win over Bryn Mawr on Thursday afternoon in women's tennis play.

Both senior Caroline Lippe and freshman BreAnna Bashaw notched their tenth wins of the season in singles completion this season in the match.

Bashaw, playing at fourth singles, defeated Catherine Austin, 6-0, 6-3, while Lippe, going at sixth singles, defeated Priyamvada Golcha, 6-2, 6-1.

Heather McMasters won at number one singles by a score of 6-0, 6-2 over Vivien Chen, while Jessica Tyrrell won at number three singles over Melina Koukoutchos, 4-6, 6-1, 10-6.

Stephanie-Jane Seabra won at number five singles, 6-2, 6-0, over Amelia Arnold.

In doubles, McMasters and Tyrell won at number one flight, 8-4, with Bashaw and Seabra winning at number two flight, 8-2.

At number three flight, Audrey Whitebloom and Deborah Choi won 8-4.
