COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The Ursinus College women's swimming team competed on Saturday against Centennial Conference foe Gettysburg College. The Bears lost to the Bullets by a score of 110-94.  

Melissa Leonard led the Bears, collecting wins in the 200 (2:01.03) and 500-yard (5:20.29) freestyle events. Sophie Lear had an impressive afternoon, winning both the 200-yard IM (2:11.90) and 100-yard freestyle (53:12).  

Abigail Ferguson gathered two second place finishes. She completed the 200-yard IM (2:16.97) and 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.28. Liv Rachael picked up a win for the Bears in the 50-yard freestyle, with a time of 25.57. She also finished second in the 100-yard butterfly, touching the wall at 1:01.51.  

Molly Stevens collected the final win for the Bears, finishing the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.49. Stevens, Lear, Rachael, and Leonard also were a part of the 400-yard medley relay which took home first place with a time of 4:04.14.  

The Bears will return to action on December 3rd, as they travel to Gettysburg for the Gettysburg Invitational.
