CHESTER, PA – The Ursinus College women's swimming team traveled to Widener University on Saturday and picked up their fourth consecutive win 159-100 in non-conference action.

The women jumped out to a quick lead after winning the 200-yard medley race with a time of 1:52.90. Sophie Lear and Liv Rachael each were able to win their individual events. Lear winning the 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard breaststroke, and 200-yard IM. Rachael earned victories in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.93 and the 100-yard butterfly. Both Rachael and Lear earned wins in the 200-yard medley race as well.  

Katie Barlow carried on the momentum picking up a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle event with a time of 2:02.44. Charlotte Driver added another victory in the 200-yard butterfly event as she finished with a time of 2:16.97. The Bears swept the 200-yard IM race as Lear took home first, Barlow second, and Madison Ortiz rounding out the top 3 with a time of 2:23.34. Ursinus finished out the meet winning the 200-yard freestyle as Molly Stevens, Melissa Leonard, Lauren Badger and Rachael finished with a time of 1:42.92.
