In their second meet of the season, the Ursinus College Women's swim team added 3 wins to their 1-0 record on the season. Along with the Bears, the quad meet featured York College of Pennsylvania, St. Vincent's College, and St. Mary's College of Maryland.

The women started off hot by finishing first, third and fourth in the medley relay. The team of Peyten Lyons, Olivia Tierney, Clara Baker and Corinne Capodanno won the event in a time of 4:03.40. Following that, Allison Emick put up a big swim in the 1000 freestyle, finishing second in 11:28.38. Rachel Weil finished fourth in the event.

Corinne Capodanno went on to win the 50 free in 24.95. She would later add a win in the 500 free with a pool record time of 5:13.05.

The 200 IM was one of the strongest events of the day with Bears finishing in the top four places. Peyten Lyons won the event in 2:13.68, Samantha Kegel was second, Olivia Tierney third, and Caroline Powell finished fourth.

The Bears also finished well in the 200 fly, with Gabriella Timuscuk posting a 2:13.00 for the win. Her teammate Clara Baker was second with a time of 2:13.63.

Katie Madden had a big swim in the 200 back, finishing second with a time of 2:18.23. Olivia Tierney and Gabriella Timuscuk managed a 1-2 finish in the 200 Breaststroke.

Finally, the free relay team of Kegel, Gundersen, Lyons, and Baker swam to a pool record in the 400 free relay, but finished a close second in the race.

The Bears finished on top of St. Vincent's 129-75, St Mary's 155-49, and York 148-56.

Ursinus is back in the pool on Saturday, November 14th in a dual meet at McDaniel College.
