COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's swimming team finished with its highest point total in 18 years after day three of the 2012 Centennial Conference Championships at Gettysburg College.

The women finished with 537 points for third place.

On the final day, sophomore Malena Lair Ferrari won her second gold medal of the championships with a 2:06.45 finish in the 200 backstroke. Her time is also a NCAA provisional mark.

The team of Lair Ferrari, freshman Amanda Lucock, freshman Chelsea Kozior and freshman Katie Yeity finished second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:35.87.

In the 1650 free, sophomore Molly Serfass finished eighth with a time of 18:18.01, with sophomore Bryn O'Neill finishing tenth at 18:23.56.

Freshman Margo Randelman finished 12th in the event at 18:49.26, with junior Kaylani Wertman taking 15th at 19:16.04.

In the B finals of the 200 backstroke, senior Danielle Yentz finished with a time of 2:18.14.

In the 100 free, Yeity was fifth in the A finals with a time of 54.50, with Lucock 8th at 55.43. In the B finals, Kozior was 12th at 55.22 with freshman Anne Ludwig 13th at 55.41.

In the 200 breast, sophomore Evan Russell was eighth at 2:33.79.

In the 200 fly, freshman Rebecca Schroll was seventh with a time of 2:15.60, with Yentz taking 11th at 2:19.14.

Earlier in the day, Lair Ferrari had earned her top seed with a time of 2:08.32 in the prelims.
