COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – It was Senior Day as the Ursinus College women's swimming team hosted the Washington College Shorewomen on Saturday in a Centennial Conference matchup. The Bears came out with the win 122-77.  The Bears honored seniors Kathryn Pall and Danielle Yentz before the match.

The team of sophomore Malena Lair Ferrari (Bethesda, Md./The German School), sophomore Eva Russell (Oakdale, N.Y./Connetquot), Danielle Yentz (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) and freshman Katie Yeity (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:56.91.

Freshman Chelsea Kozior (Holland, Pa./Council Rock HS South) took top honors with her win in the 1000 freestyle at 11:27.69.

Sophomore Bryn O'Neill (Lower Gwynedd, Pa./Germantown Academy) won the 200freestyle with a time of 2:03.34.  Yeity placed in a close second at 2:04.92.

Freshman Anne Ludwig (Southborough, Mass./Algonquin Regional) placed first in the 50 freestyle at 26.07.

Russell won the 400 IM with a time of 5:02.58.

Yentz took first in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:20.88.  Freshman Rebecca Schroll (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) took a close second with a time of 2:21.06.

Kozior placed second in the 100 freestyle at 57.19.

Lair Ferrari took first in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:13.58.

O'Neill sealed the win with her first place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:29.87.

The Bears swam exhibition for the final two events.  The team travels to Arcadia on Friday.
