Women's Swimming downed by F&M, 129-74

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's swimming team dropped its final home meet of the season to Franklin & Marshall by a 129-74 score.

The Bears got first place finishes from freshman Malena Lair Ferrari (Bethesda, Md./The German School) as she won the 200 yard free with a time of 1:59.95, and the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:13.92, while freshman Eva Russell (Oakdale, N.Y./Connetquot) won the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:19.46.

Sophomore Sarah Kolosky (Fishkill, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) was second in the 50 free with a time of 26.42.

In the relay events, the team of freshman Bryn O'Neill (Lower Gwynedd, Pa./Germantown Academy), junior Danielle Yentz (Springfield, Pa./Springfield), sophomore Jeannie Weaver (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) and freshman Molly Serfass (Wiliamsport, Pa./Loyalsock) won the 400 free relay at 3:53.93, while the team of freshman Kimberly Bullock (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga), junior Kelly Reynolds (Newark, Del./Sanford School) sophomore Kelsey Yoo (Whitehall, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic), sophomore Kaylani Wertman (Allentown, Pa./William Allen) was second at 4:08.27.

The team of Yentz, Lair Ferrari, Russell and Kolosky took second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:14.65.
