COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Gettysburg swept both ends of a Centennial
Conference swim meet on Saturday from Ursinus.
The women won 141-64, while the men won 116-89. Both Ursinus teams
fell to 4-1 and 1-1 in the Centennial.
The Bullets took first in every individual event, with the Bears
picking up a handful of second-place finishes.
The team of sophomore Danielle Yentz (Springfield,
Pa./Springfield), freshman Jeannie Weaver (Mays
Landing, N.J./Oakcrest), junior Bridget Winn
(Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) and freshman Sarah
Kolosky (Fishkill, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) took second
in the 400-yard medley relay at 4:16.21. Freshman Lianna
Foster-Bey (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) had two second place
finishes in the 50-free (26.19) and the 100-free (56.60). Yentz
would finish second in the 200-back at 2:20.63, followed by a
second place finish from senior Emily Herman (Glenside,
Pa./Cheltenham Township) in the 200 butterfly at a time of
2:23.23.
Junior Jess Saloky (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy)
took second in the 200-breast at 2:34.44, and Weaver, Kolosky,
Foster-Bey and Saloky finished second in the 400-free relay at
3:51.89.
