Women's Soccer Lands Four on All-CC Team

2016 All-CC Women's Soccer

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's soccer team placed four of its student-athletes on the All-Centennial Conference Team. Senior midfielder Jeannie Jasinski was selected to the second team for the third year in a row, while senior forward Erin Farrell and senior goalkeeper Courtney Sullivan joined junior back Anna Budny in the honorable mention category.

Additionally, senior back Kelly Rosen was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Jasinski is the fourth player in program history to collect three all-conference laurels. She scored three goals this season and leaves fourth in school history in goals (22) and sixth in points (47). Jasinski started 60 games in her career.

A veteran of 63 career starts, Farrell was given honorable mention for the second straight season after heading the Bears in goals (6), assists (5), and points (17) in her swan song. Farrell, who had a goal and two assists in a 4-0 whitewashing of Alvernia on September 20, finished her senior year strong, with two goals and three assists in her last four games. She closed her career with 15 goals and 10 assists, one of only five Bears to reach those numbers.

Like Farrell, Budny also received honorable mention for a second consecutive season. She anchored a defense that surrendered just 20 goals in 16 games and posted five clean sheets. Budny has started 48 games over the last three seasons.

Sullivan's first All-CC selection caps a stellar career for the Bears' veteran netminder. A three-year starter with 53 career appearances to her name, Sullivan posted a career-best .840 save percentage and five shutouts in her final season. She departs the program ranked second in saves (270) and shutouts (15) and third in goals-against average (1.23).

The Bears' four All-CC performers are the most since 2007, when they set a school record with five.
