LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus College senior goalkeeper Courtney Sullivan was named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Sullivan made five saves in a pair of shutouts for the Bears (3-4-1, 1-1). Ursinus blanked Alvernia, 4-0, on Tuesday before posting a 2-0 whitewashing of Franklin & Marshall on Saturday.

With the back-to-back clean sheets, the Bears' first of the season, Sullivan moved into second all-time in program history with 12 career shutouts. She needs just six saves to move up to fourth on the school's all-time charts.

Sullivan leads the conference by a wide margin with 59 saves, nearly double the total of her closest counterpart. She ranks seventh in the league in save percentage (.843).
