McDaniel beats Women's Soccer, 2-1, in overtime

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – McDaniel's Nicole Hill scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as the Green Terror (11-0, 3-0 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (8-2, 3-1 Centennial) 2-1 in a match-up of the two of the top women's soccer teams in the Centennial on Saturday.

Hill scored on a kick from ten-yards out off of a pass from Catherine Wroblewski in the 96thminute to send the Green Terror to the win.

Hill had scored her first goal in the 26th minute on a shot that went past the goalkeeper on a pass from Lindsey Farrell.

Ursinus took an early 1-0 lead in the second minute of the game when junior midfielder Jeanne Jasinski (Hilltown, Pa./Pennridge) scored on a shot that hit the right side of the goal and went in. Junior forward Jacqueline Smiler (West Chester, Pa./W.C. Bayard Rustin) had the assist.

Being outshot 21-7, Ursinus got six saves from junior goalkeeper Courtney Sullivan (Maple Glen, Pa./Gwynedd-Mercy Academy).
