COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – For the fifth straight match, the Ursinus College women's soccer team came out a winner as the Bears (7-1, 2-0 Centennial) blanked Franklin & Marshall (2-5-1, 0-2 Centennial) 3-0 Saturday night at Patterson Field.

The win also marked the fourth straight shutout for the Bears, who are ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Ursinus would add one more in the second half when sophomore defender Phoebe Shoap (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) scored on an assist from senior defender Kelsey Shafer (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham).

Ursinus held F&M to just five shots and three corner kicks, while junior goalkeeper Courtney Sullivan (Maple Glen, Pa./Gwynedd-Mercy Academy) made five saves in the win.
