LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus College junior goalkeeper Courtney Sullivan (Maple Glen, Pa./Gwynedd-Mercy Academy) was named as the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon by the conference office.
Sullivan made nine saves in a 1-0 win over Gettysburg on Saturday night, including a point-blank save off of a header and a diving save in the first half that kept Ursinus in the game.
For the season, she is 5-1 with 27 saves and a 0.52 Goals Against Average. She has allowed just three goals this season.
Ursinus will head to Alvernia on Wednesday, then host F&M on Saturday.
