Women's Soccer beaten by Scranton, 3-2

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Samantha Russo scored with 4:42 left in the game off of a corner as The University of Scranton (11-2) rallied for a 3-2 win over Ursinus (5-6-1) Saturday afternoon at Patterson Field.

Ursinus held a 2-1 lead until the Royals scored twice in the final 13 minutes to take the win.

The Bears got on the board early as Nicole Good scored her second goal of the season on a rebound shot at 5:27 for a 1-0 lead.

Scranton scored at 21:09 when Kelsey Bacon scored the first of her two goals on the day on an assist from Gianna Vitolo to knot the score at 1-all.

On a great pass from Erin Farrell, Smiler assisted on the second Ursinus' goal as she tipped the ball to Alexis Haug right before a collision with a Royal' defender for a  2-1 lead at 54:24.

Bacon scored her second goal at 77:03 when she flipped the ball right past Ursinus senior Kara DiJoseph.

DiJoseph finished with 11 saves on the afternoon.
