COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's soccer team tied its fourth straight match on Wednesday night as the Bears (2-5-4, 0-2-4 Centennial) played to a 1-1 stalemate with Haverford (7-2-1, 2-1-1 Centennial) at Patterson Field.
Ursinus scored in the 11th minute as sophomore midfielder Alexis Haug (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) scored on a rebound off of a shot from junior midfielder Nicole Good (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) for a 1-0 lead.
Haverford tied the score at 1-all in the 21st minute as sophomore forward Connie Friedman scored on a rebound from a free kick from senior midfielder Allie Chen.
From there, the two goalkeepers kept the two teams off of the board as junior goalkeeper Kara DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) made five saves on the night.
Ursinus goes to Johns Hopkins on Saturday.
