With the victory, Ursinus has collected their second consecutive win over the Blue Jays and moved to 12-1 all-time against Johns Hopkins.

"We dropped a dual today that we shouldn't have and it should serve as a wake up call,"Head Coach Joe Jamison said. "There were a few critical spots in the dual where we came up short and it cost us; we can't let it happen again and I need to do a better job. Merchant Marine always comes ready to battle, so hats off to them. I'm glad we were able to bounce back and get the win over a much improved Johns Hopkins. This Thursday is a big opportunity for us at Muhlenberg, so we're looking forward to it."

The Bears will return to action Thursday as they travel to Muhlenberg for a 7pm start inside Memorial Hall.
