LANCASTER, PA. - After his first competition since November 13th, Ursinus senior Malcolm Hunt has been named Centennial Conference Wrestler of the Week after collecting three pins at the Bears quad meet on Saturday.  Hunt has missed the last two months due to an injury suffered at the Racich Rumble, he returned to the mat at Gettysburg rejoining the team for a pivotal stretch of dual meets for Ursinus.

The senior was sensational only needing 25 seconds in his first match back to record a pin as Ursinus defeated Gettysburg 30-12. He followed with another pin in the first period, defeating Eric Ward from McDaniel in just one minute and 49 seconds.  Trailing 20-15 to the defending Centennial Conference champions Washington & Lee, Hunt's third pin of the day was the biggest as the Bears knocked off W&L 21-20. This is the first weekly conference award for any Bears wrestlers this season. 

The Bears return to action Saturday as they host Merchant Marine and Johns Hopkins for Senior Day inside Helfferich Hall.
