COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus wrestling moved to 8-0 on the dual meet season with a 53-0 win over West Chester Tuesday night as part of the first Beauty and the Beast event with the Ursinus gymnastics team.

Ursinus blitzed through the bouts, winning four by forfeit and three by pin.

The match started with three forfeits, with Zachary Fisher (125), Christian Hoogheem (133) and Alex Kramer (141) all picking up wins.

At 149, Curtis Watkins pinned Cody Coppola in 6:56, with Richard Jasinski earning a tech fall over Andrew Boyer, 21-4 in five minutes time.

At 165, Anthony Carlo defeated Chad Baribault, 9-4, followed by a pin from Victor Fernandez over Yusuf Hayes in 4:15 at 174.

At 184, Daniel Manganaro pinned Antonio Olivares in 4:53, followed by a forfeit win from Taylor Gload at 197.

At 285, Karch Connors netted a 7-0 decision over Edward Berry.

Ursinus hosts the Will Abele Invitational on Saturday.
