Seniors Star in Women's Lax Finale

WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Ursinus College women's lacrosse team scored a season high in goals in a 19-15 Centennial Conference shootout at McDaniel on Saturday.

Seniors Hanna Crowley, Abby Krasutsky, and Grace Langen all registered hat-tricks in their final game for the Bears. Crowley produced a career-high four goals and an assist, while Krasutsky and Langen posted matching three-goal, one-assist stat lines.

The teams were neck and neck in the opening half. After McDaniel (2-4) opened up a 5-2 lead, the Bears came roaring back with four of the last five goals. Trailing 6-3, Reilly Morgan scored on a feed from Langen before Katherine Eckhoff found senior counterpart Crowley for one of her own, and about a minute later Krasutsky had ripped the back of the cage to make it 6-6. Jill Verrelle's marker with 5 seconds remaining in the half pulled Ursinus even at 7-apiece.

McDaniel broke away with the first four goals of the second half and never led by fewer than three from that point.

Kealey Allison racked up eight goals and four assists for the Green Terror, while Emma Miller netted four goals and snagged 13 draw controls to key a 25-11 advantage for the hosts in that category.

Morgan netted two goals for the Bears, who also got a goal and an assist out of Emma Wood and a goal from Gabrielle Liott, the rookie's second of the season.

Alexa Machado finished with 12 saves, giving her a CC-best 75 for the year.

Molly Divis led Ursinus with four ground balls and added a caused turnover in her final game as a Bear.
