Grous Selected to IWLCA Senior All-Star Game

SPARKS, Md. – Ursinus College women's lacrosse graduate Lisa Grous will close her career with another prestigious honor, as the senior defender was selected to the South roster for the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Division III Senior All-Star Game.

The annual showcase pits 132 of the nation's top players – 44 each from Division I, II, and III – against each other in a North-South format. The Senior All-Star games are scheduled for June 3 on Tierney Field at the United States Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. The Division III contest is slated for 2 p.m. All games are free and will be live streamed on IWLCA-tv.com.

A second team All-Centennial Conference honoree, Grous led the Bears with 45 draw controls to rank inside the top 10 in the conference. She added 19 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers and dished out a career-high three assists. Grous, a first team All-CC and second team all-region performer last season, finished her career with 148 draws, 115 ground balls, and 53 caused turnovers. She played in all 65 games over the last four years, making 62 starts.

Grous is one of ten Centennial Conference players who were chosen for the Senior All-Star Game, eight of whom will compete for the South squad.
