2016 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's lacrosse team and senior Jessica Hill recently earned academic recognition from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Assocation, with the Bears being named a Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad and Hill garnering a spot on the IWLCA/Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll.

The women's lacrosse team was honored for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0. To achieve Academic Honor Roll status, a student-athlete must be at least a junior in class standing and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

An Exercise and Sport Science major, Hill joined teammates Taylor DeBernardi and Meaghan Corbin on the Centennial Conference's Spring Academic Honor Roll and was also named to the conference's All-Sportsmanship Team.

Hill established a career high with five points in 2016, matching her previous benchmarks in goals (4) and assists (1) and adding two ground balls and two caused turnovers in 15 games (two starts) for the Bears, who finished 8-8 overall and 4-5 in league play.
