DANVILLE, PA. - Jessica Lamarca finished tied for 11th as she paced the Ursinus College women's golf team to a third-place finish at the Huskie Invitational on Thursday afternoon.
Ursinus landed on a team tally of 438 (+150), as Scranton won the Invitational finishing with a team score of 358. Bloomsburg finished in second place with a tally of 387, while Lebanon Valley and Lock Haven each competed as well.
The Bears had five members competing at the Golf Course at Frost Valley, a par-72 course that stretches 5,515 yards. Each one of the women finished within the top-20 of the invitational rankings.
Lamarca finished with a 27-over 99 while teammate Kaylin Chen closed out her round in 17th-place with a 109. The trio of Carolyn DeCicco (18th), Rebecca Chernoff (19th), and Elliot Schott (20th) rounded out the group with top-20 performances. DeCicco signed for a 112, while Chernoff finished just behind with a 118 and Schott turned in her card with a 124.
The Bears will return to action on Sunday, April 24 as they travel to Carlisle, Pennsylvania for the Dickinson Invitational.
