LANCASTER, Pa. - Ursinus College's Jessica Lamarca was named Centennial Conference women's golfer of the week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Lamarca enjoyed a terrific season debut at the McDaniel Invitational last Saturday, carding a career-best 79 to place runner-up in a field of more than 40 entrants at The Bridges Golf Club. Lamarca's score bettered her previous personal mark by three strokes and matched Emily McGarrigle's score from the 2018 conference championship in 2018 as the lowest by an Ursinus golfer in that span.

Lamarca was the Bears' top performer during the spring, when she placed seventh at the conference championship. She is a two-time conference golfer of the week honoree, having also earned the award on March 30.
