COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – DeSales got a game-high 23 points from junior guard Sondrine Glovas as the Bulldogs (7-4) defeated Ursinus (6-5) 60-40 in a non-conference women's basketball tilt on Saturday afternoon.

DeSales used a 41-30 edge on the glass for 30 points in the paint and 14 second-chance points to take the win.

Ursinus was led by freshman guard Alyssa Polimeni (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston Regional) who had ten points.

DeSales took the lead for good with 10:23 left in the first half as freshman guard Gabby Scott scored on a jumper to make the score 15-14. From there, DeSales would go on a 12-2 run to up 27-16.

Leading by nine at the half, DeSales got the lead into double digits with 17:18 left in the game at 34-22 and never looked back.

Polimeni also finished with three steals in the loss. Ursinus will host Gettysburg on Saturady.
