CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Ursinus College women's basketball team came up on the short end of a 60-47 decision to Washington College on Wednesday night.
The loss sends Ursinus to a 12-7 record in the Centennial (13-11 overall), while Washington College stays alive in the playoff race with a 10-9 record in the conference (15-9 overall).
Ursinus, who clinched a playoff spot last Saturday, can get the fourth seed on Saturday with a win over Muhlenberg and/or a Haverford loss to Swarthmore. For Ursinus, senior forward Lindsay Teuber (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Basil's) scored 12 while senior guard Kristy George (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) scored ten.
