COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College senior forward Lindsay Teuber (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Basil's) had a double-double with 23 points, including her 1,000th career point and 13 rebounds as the Bears (9-9, 8-5 Centennial) made further headway in the Centennial Conference playoff chase with a win over visiting Washington College (11-7, 6-7 Centennial) 61-43 on Wednesday evening.

Teuber scored her 1,000th point with 5:04 remaining in the contest as the Bears won their eighth conference game of the season.

Senior guard Alli Rosati (Jamison, Pa./Central Bucks East) netted 13 on the evening while grabbing four rebounds.  Senior guard Jen Sroba (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) was third on the team with seven points.

Washington was lead by Meghan Tait who contributed 13 in the losing effort.

Ursinus shot 43 percent from the field (25-58) and committed just 10 turnovers in the win.  With the win and wins from Haverford and Gettysburg, the Bears remain in a three-way tie for fourth in the conference.

The Bears return to action with a road trip to Dickinson this Saturday.  Tip is set for 2 pm.
